Hector Izquierdo is a Spanish photographer based in Japan. His work ranges from preciosist yet minimalist black and white landscapes to scenes of daily life in Japan with vibrant splashes of color.

His lens captures the beauty of the landscape with extreme veracity. From the snowy landscapes of Hokkaido to the sinuous shapes of the Namibian desert. Hector's inspiration comes from great masters of nature and black and white landscape photography such as Michael Kenna, among many others.

His street photography in his walks around Tokyo also drinks from the minimalist of his black and white photography, capturing the dancing light of the city and its notes of color.

Both works demonstrate his dexterity with the camera and his persevering character in the ambition to capture the environment that surrounds us with its subtle changes.
